This year's gamescom camp will once again take place at the Jugendpark in Cologne - a low-cost accommodation for gamescom visitors and at the same time Europe's largest gaming camp.

The gamescom camp is an alternative accommodation for all visitors to gamescom (20-24 August) who are looking for an affordable place to stay. As Europe's largest gaming campsite, the camp attracts gaming fans from all over the world every year and offers much more than just a place to sleep - the gamescom camp is a meeting point for like-minded people and a place where online communities can finally come together offline.

"At the gamescom camp, campers have various accommodation options. Those who have their own camping equipment can bring their own tents. Additionally, there are pre-pitched multi-person tents, which are particularly attractive for groups. If you don’t want to miss out on extra comfort, the Camp Houses are the ideal choice. These come with two single beds with mattresses, a mini fridge, a fan or heater, power outlets, an LED lamp, and clothes hooks. But be quick - the Camp Houses are already almost sold out," the organizers write.
