Shooter, football and wizardry in the November charts
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" fights its way to the top of the game charts in November 2023, taking the place of "EA Sports FC 24". Despite this, Electronic Arts still has five games in the top 20, followed by Ubisoft with three.
For two months in a row, "EA Sports FC 24" held the top position in the official game charts from Germany until the launch of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III". The shooter from Activision Blizzard made a new entry at the pole position in November 2023. The still very popular football game from Electronic Arts slipped to second place. "Hogwarts Legacy" secured the third position thanks to its recent Switch release, followed by "Super Mario Bros. Wonder" and "Grand Theft Auto V". The second-highest new entry is "Super Mario RPG" in 10th place. From a publisher perspective: five titles in the top 20 are from Electronic Arts and three from Ubisoft.
While Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed Mirage", released in October, dropped a few places, falling from second to sixth place, "Anno 1800" climbed back into the top 20 in 11th position. "Lords of the Fallen", which debuted in fifth place last month, has disappeared from the November charts. "Alan Wake 2", developed by Remedy Entertainment and distributed by Epic Games Publishing, is not included in the charts as the publisher does not provide GSD with any data on the game, which is only distributed digitally. For the same reason, "Baldur's Gate 3" is also missing from the ranking.

The charts of the game - Association of the German Games Industry are cross-platform and include the games for PCs and consoles most frequently sold on data carriers and as downloads in Germany in the respective month. The data basis is provided by Games Sales Data (GSD), a platform of Video Games Europe (VGE), formerly Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE). Numerous retailers, publishers and digital distribution platforms such as the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, Steam and Xbox Live from Germany report sales figures to GSD. However, digital sales of Nintendo titles from the eShop are not included.
