To better present Germany as a games location, the "Made in Germany" exhibition area in the business section will be expanded to include a central information point. This is a joint project of the BMWK, Games Germany and game.

In order to provide targeted information about Germany as a games location, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK: Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz) is expanding the "Made in Germany" area in the business section of Hall 4.1 (Stand B063) to include an information point for all trade visitors. There, the BMWK and Games Germany (an association of German games funding organisations and network institutions) will provide information about Germany as a games location and show which German games stakeholders and federal states are represented at gamescom.

This will be "an ideal starting point for an overview of the various funding opportunities offered by the federal states and the federal government, including the forwarding of information to the relevant contacts at the event", according to the announcement. The cooperation partners are the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), game – the German Games Industry Association and Games Germany.
