Black Myth: Wukong won not only the category Best Visual Design but also the main category Ultimate Game of the Year at the industry's longest-running awards ceremony.
The most successful title at the Golden Joysticks Awards was Helldivers 2. Developed by the Swedish Arrowhead Game Studios, the game won the Critics' Choice Award, Console Game of the Year, Best Multiplayer Game, and Best Game Trailer.
Other multiple winners of the evening were Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (Best Storytelling, Best Soundtrack) and Balatro (Best Indie Game, Breakthrough Award).
The awards were hosted by Ben Starr, alongside special guests from the world of gaming,
