Blaze Entertainment has announced two bartop arcade systems for November 2024 that will expand the Evercade product family. With the 50 Evercade modules now available, the Evercade ecosystem includes more than 500 titles, including numerous retro classics.

The announcement was made by Blaze Entertainment itself, as well as its distribution partners, e.g. Plaion in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Evercade Alpha bartop arcade system has been available for pre-order in two versions - Street Fighter and Mega Man - since the beginning of June. The release date is November, but no exact date has been announced yet. Each system comes with six games permanently installed. The Evercade Alpha also has two module slots. Both are fully compatible with all physical game collections for Evercade.

Since the launch of the first Evercade 2020 handheld, more than 50 physical collections have been released. In total, more than 500 games are available for the various Evercade hardware devices. In July, a new handheld and a new home console variant will be released, the Evercade EXP-R and Evercade VS-R, which are also compatible with all the Evercade modules that have been released.

"At Blaze, our vision for Evercade has always been to create a thriving ecosystem offering diverse ways to enjoy our cartridges. We’re thrilled to introduce Alpha Arcades to our customers, providing the ultimate Evercade Arcade gaming experience for our fans," says Andrew Byatt, CEO of Blaze Entertainment. "It’s an exciting time for Evercade, and we can’t wait for gamers to experience the Evercade Alpha."
