Funcom greift bei "Age Of Conan: Hyborian Adventures" zur Schere. Wie britische Medien berichten, wird in Deutschland eine geschnittene Version des Onlinerollenspiels auf den Markt kommen.

Entgegen der Ursprungsfassung werden so Enthauptungen, Verstümmelungen und besonders brutale Tötungsmethoden aus der Version für den deutschen Markt entfernt. Davon unberührt bleibt die Version für Resteuropa, die vom Pan-European Game Information System (Pegi) die Freigabe "18+" erhalten hat.
