With a new app to better get around the mega stand, the Indie Arena Booth organisers at Super Crowd are taking what they learned from the Polaris app and applying it to gamescom. Apart from a plan, the app features sticker collection and the possibility to win prizes, like a newly announced vinyl collaboration with Black Screen Records.

Walking around the vast Indie Arena Booth at gamescom can be its own challenge – that’s why the organisers at Super Crowd, are premiering a new Indie Arena Booth App. Super crowd had already made a gamified app for the Polaris in 2023, which has then been called the Polaris app and is now called Super Crowd App, hinting at more endeavours in this direction.

Apart from a plan of the 160 games in 1,500qm, the Indie Arena Booth App is supposed to be its own multiplayer game. Players can collect stickers at the game booth and win prizes and Steam keys.

One of the main prizes is a new Indie Arena Booth vinyl that has been made in collaboration with Black Screen Records from Cologne. 16 selected songs and an IAB main track called "Gaming Hell" by Mr Kaschke and Jana Rengers were chosen from over 70 submissions to represent the sound of the Indie Arena Booth.
