Berlin-based development studio Zeedz.io has won over the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen" with its game of the same name. For the first time in the show's history, all five "lions" agreed to a joint investment.

For the launch of the app on iOS and Android, Berlin-based game development studio Zeedz.io ventured into the "Höhe der Löwen", or lions' den, the German version of "Drangon's Den" (UK)/"Shark Tank" (US), and convinced them. The developers of the game of the same name, in which you collect magical plant creatures to fight global CO2 emissions, were not only able to win over all five lions. For the first time in the show's history, all five Lions - Carsten Maschmeyer, Tillman Schulz, Dagmar Wöhrl, Ralf Dümmel and Nils Glagau - invested together. In total, the Berlin studio raised €600,000 for 25 per cent. The money will be used to scale and market the game worldwide.

In addition to the free mobile version, there will also be an NFT version in which players can buy Zeedle NFTs without a separate wallet, using PayPal or a credit card. At the same time, pre-order of physical trading cards will begin with the release of the apps, opening up the world of Zeedz to analogue audiences and younger players. The financial contributions generated by the players will be made available to selected and verified non-profit projects aimed at reducing global CO2 emissions. According to the company, ten per cent of in-app revenue and 50 per cent of all profits from its own marketplace worldwide will be invested in green projects in collaboration with Zeedz's official sustainability partner: The Gold Standard.

"Zeedz is revolutionising the gaming industry for a good cause," says Carsten Maschmeyer, a member of the "Höhle der Löwen" jury and a new investor in Zeedz. "It is the first game of its kind that not only raises money for charities, but also raises awareness of global warming. It combines in-game challenges with real weather phenomena. This immediately excited us Lions".
