Just a few days ago, Jumpgate gained financial leeway to bring two ongoing projects to completion by increasing its credit line and closing project financing. One is a commissioned project by its subsidiary Tivola, the other is Star Trek: Voyager, which was launched last week and is published by Daedalic. And it has clearly exceeded expectations at launch.

After Daedalic announced the successful launch last week and Jonas Hüsges (Daedalic's COO) and Patrick Streppel (gameXcite's CEO) gave GamesMarkt an interview about the project, Jumpgate has now also spoken out.

"Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown is the most successful release from gameXcite and Jumpgate so far and we are proud to have passed the milestone of one hundred thousand sold games. With this, we have surpassed our internal target for the launch. The team and our partners have made a great effort, and we are very satisfied with the result. In addition to the strong initial sales, the game has been well received by the players and reviewers with ca 75 % positive Steam Reviews and a Metacritic Score of 77 % at the time of writing. We will continue to improve the game to further strengthen the game experience", says Harald Riegler, CEO Jumpgate.

In addition, Jumpgate has also announced sales figures for the first time. Star Trek: Voyager has already surpassed its first sales milestone of 100,000 units sold after just four days. Now it's up to all partners to maintain the momentum.
