In the third quarter of 2025, Krafton posted revenue of KRW 870.6 billion (~€525 million), which is an increase of 21% from the same period a year ago. Operating profit was KRW 348.6 billion (~€210 million), an increase of 7.5% on the same period last year. This marks the first time that Krafton has surpassed KRW 1 trillion (~€603 million) in operating profit over the first three quarters (1 EUR = 1658.4 KRW).

The South Korean company recorded strong results across all its business segments, including PC (KRW 353.9 billion; ~€213 million), mobile (KRW 488.5 billion; ~€295 million), consoles (KRW 10.2 billion; ~€6 million), and other areas (KRW 18 billion; ~€11 million). The PC platform achieved record quarterly revenues, with year-on-year growth reaching 29%. This was driven by the consistent popularity of PUBG: Battlegrounds, boosted by collaborations (aespa, G-Dragon and Bugatti).

Battlegrounds Mobile India, the Indian version of PUBG, also achieved a new quarterly revenue high on mobile through localised strategies aimed at enhancing the user experience. These strategies included India-exclusive skins and service expansion. The company plans to strengthen its position in India and accelerate its global expansion by forming local partnerships, creating region-specific content, optimising network infrastructure, and updating user-generated content. To date, the company has invested around KRW 300 billion (~€181 million) in co-growth initiatives in India, with a focus on developing new IP in gaming and digital entertainment.

Krafton plans to accelerate the growth of the PUBG IP franchise further and continue to offer experiences beyond gaming through IP collaborations. There are also efforts underway to evolve PUBG: Battlegrounds into a 'PUBG 2.0' platform featuring an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, expanded gameplay modes and enhancements to user-generated content. Meanwhile, the mobile segment will seek to maintain steady growth by offering diverse content and ensuring stable live service operations.

In line with its five-year strategy to establish a 'big franchise IP', Krafton continues to invest in developing new franchise IP. They are currently overseeing 11 projects in production.

Finally, Krafton is accelerating its transition toward becoming an "AI First" Company. The announcement states: "By advancing its AI capabilities, the company aims to deliver differentiated user experiences and drive innovation across all services. To support this vision, Krafton has established a GPU cluster valued at approximately KRW 100 billion, enabling large-scale creative experimentation and organizational transformation. Through a consortium with SK Telecom, the company is developing a proprietary foundation model with five billion parameters and building an integrated AI development and deployment system - covering everything from large-scale training to in-game implementation. These initiatives strengthen Krafton's position as a leader in game AI technology and advance the development of Co-Playable Characters (CPCs). In the first half of 2026, Krafton plans to introduce its first CPC, PUBG Ally, in PUBG: Battlegrounds Arcade Mode, giving players an innovative, strategic gameplay experience alongside AI companions."
