Microsoft Launches “This Is An Xbox” Campaign
Microsoft has unveiled an unconventional new marketing campaign titled “This Is An Xbox”, developed in collaboration with major brands like Samsung, Crocs, and Porsche. The campaign leverages eye-catching visuals and creative promotions to emphasize Xbox’s versatility, with global activations planned, including in Berlin.
The campaign highlights how Game Pass enables Xbox gaming without an Xbox console, showcasing options like mobile phones, Samsung TVs, or Amazon Fire TV. To further spark interest, Microsoft is complementing the campaign with a twist: “This Is Not An Xbox” visuals and installations designed to intrigue and engage audiences.
Several prominent brands are partnering with Microsoft to bring this concept to life. In addition to Samsung, Crocs, and Porsche, The Happy Egg Co. in the UK is among the collaborators. Campaign visuals and installations will appear in key cities worldwide, including San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, London, New York, and Berlin.
To round out the initiative, Microsoft is introducing a range of merchandising products available through the Xbox Gear Shop. While the campaign's timeline has not been disclosed, its global reach and creative partnerships underscore Microsoft’s commitment to reimagining how Xbox connects with audiences.
