Die Matrox Gruppe meldet für das Geschäftsjahr 1998/99 (Stichtag 31. März 1999) einen Umsatz von 550 Millionen Dollar. Die Tochter Matrox Graphics, Hersteller von Grafikkarten und -chips, trug allein 473 Millionen Dollar dazu bei. Insgesamt setze Matrox Graphics sechs Millionen Grafikchips und zehn Millionen Grafikkarten ab. Verkaufsschlager des Unternehmens waren die Grafikchips MGA-G100 und MGA-G200 und die Grafikkarte Matrox Millenium G200. Zu den Kundenvon Matrox Graphics gehören unter anderem Compaq, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Dell, Siemens und Maxdata.
