AI-generated 3D has entered game production faster than most disciplines — mainly for props, blockouts and prototyping, where volume matters more than precision. The bottleneck shows up the moment generated assets have to match approved concept art: when the mesh drifts from the design, the art team pays for it in rework.
Meshy 7, the newest model generation from Meshy and the company's most capable to date, is built for exactly that stage. It delivers industry-leading geometric alignment — with generated meshes following the silhouette, proportions and structural edges of the reference image. For art teams, that means characters and hero props stay closer to the approved design, with fewer correction passes before retopology, texturing and rigging. Multi-image input and retexturing are supported; assets export to FBX, GLB and OBJ for Unity or Unreal.
Meshy 7 is live at meshy.ai. At gamescom, Meshy will be in the business area, Hall 3.2, Stand A040, from Trade Day, 26 August.
