MFG is collaborating with the state of Baden-Württemberg to organize a “The Länd” stand at Nordic Game in Malmö from May 26 to 29, 2026. Indie game studios can now apply for one of five funded places and travels. 

Additionally, the MFG organises a market exploration trip to Sweden in cooperation with the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. The trip from May 26 to 29, 2026 includes a visit to Nordic Game and connects small companies and start-ups insights with the Swedish games industry. Applications can be submitted online until March 13.

The iconic yellow “The Länd” stand will also once again be at gamescom with Games BW in the business area. Studios from the state can apply now to be an exhibitor at the “The Länd — Games & Virtual Worlds Made in Baden-Württemberg” booth and present their company, games, interactive media, or apps from August 26 to 28, 2026. In addition to the booth in the business area, indie game studios from Baden-Württemberg can also win one of five sponsored spots at the Indie Arena Booth in the consumer area from August 26 to 30, 2026. Applications will be accepted starting 11 March.
