French publisher Microids and Centresoft have signed a distribution agreement for Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA). The deal applies to both the existing and future portfolios.
With the new strategic partnership with Centresoft, Microids hopes to improve its market presence, increase its visibility in retail and ultimately gain optimal access to players in the GSA region. The new distribution partnership, which covers physical goods and brick-and-mortar retail, gives Centresoft's German subsidiary, Centresoft GmbH, formerly NBG, responsibility for both existing titles and future releases from Microids.
Microids describes the agreement as an important step in expanding its position in Europe's key markets. The GSA region is one of the most important sales regions for games in Europe.
Centresoft GmbH was ultimately formed through a management buyout of Centresoft UK in 2024. Following its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the British distributor also purchased the German company NBG, which was renamed Centresoft GmbH in late 2025. Among other things, Capcom has since been acquired as a customer.
