Auf der REPLltech, nationale Konferenz der US-Presswerke, hat Microsoft in persona des Unternehmensjuristen Tony Viera die hervorragende Leistung des Antipiraterieprogramms der International Recording Media Association (IRMA) gelobt. Man rate allen Herstellern, der Vereinigung beizutreten und die seit Mai dieses Jahres geltenden Richtlinien zu befolgen. Das Programm zum Schutz vor illegalen Raubkopien entstand unter der Mitwirkung aller großen US-Organisationen der Branche, wie der Interactive Digital Software Association (IDSA), der Motion Picture Association (MPA)und der International Federation of the Phenographic Industry (IFPI).
