Messeveranstalter Reed Midem hat Milia und MIP-TV zusammengelegt. Deswegen wurde die Milia nun auf einen neuen Termin verschoben.

Die Multimediamesse Milia 2003 wird zusammen mit der nächsten Programm-Messe MIP-TVstattfinden. Mit der Zusammenlegung beider Veranstaltungen soll laut Organisator Reed Midem der Austausch zwischen Entscheidungsträgern der Segmente Games, interaktive Inhalte, Telekommunikation, Fernsehen, Breitbandmedien und mobile Netzwerke verbessert werden. "Die Zukunft der TV-Programmierung ist zunehmend mit neuen interaktiven Formaten verbunden", sagte Milia-Direktorin Laurine Garaude zum Zusammenschluss. Durch diesen hat sich der Termin der Milia geändert: Neuer Messezeitraum ist der 26. bis 28. März 2003. Ursprünglich sollte das Multimedia-Event Anfang Februar nächsten Jahres stattfinden. Hingegen wird die MIP-TV wie geplant vom 24. bis 28. März veranstaltet.
