Checkpoint by Game Two and Xperion is Live

Rocket Beans' gaming format Game Two was first set to be discontinued, then integrated into existing channels. Now, Xperion by MediaMarktSaturn and Beans Entertainment have entered into a long-term agreement to continue the show together. The first issue of Checkpoint has aired on Friday.
Update from 08 September 2025:The first issue of the new show by Game Two in cooperation between Beans Entertainment and MediaMarktSaturn's Xperion has gone online on Friday, 5 September: Checkpoint is the name of the new format. "We will continue to produce reviews, video essays, and formats that you know from before with heart and the necessary dash of punch.", the team says.

The gaming format Game Two is relaunching on the basis of a new partnership between .
After Game Two initially expired in June, Beans Entertainment decided to produce the format independently and integrate it into Rocket Beans TV. With MediaMarktSaturn as a strategic partner, the format is set to evolve in terms of content, but also benefit from the Xperion spaces.
Arno Heinisch, CEO of Beans Entertainment, explains: “We are very grateful that MediaMarktSaturn decided so early on to support Game Two in the long term. This commitment is an important catalyst for the repositioning of the format, and we greatly appreciate having found such a reliable and committed partner so quickly.”
On the MediaMarktSaturn side, Miriam Fonfe, Head of Marketing MediaMarktSaturn Germany, and Sebastian Knaup, Managing Director Xperion Germany, are responsible for the joint project. “We are delighted to be developing this popular format together with Beans Entertainment and to be expanding it further as part of a strategic partnership,” says Sebastian Knaup. “This will enable us to create additional interfaces between our physical and digital worlds and add another building block to our commitment to connecting generations and firmly anchoring gaming in society.”
