Mit fast 125.000 Euro fördert die Film- und Medienstiftung NRW erneut innovative Gaming-Projekte aus Nordrhein-Westfallen, darunter drei aktuelle Spiele-Projekte und das deutsch-französische Accelerator-Programm der Spielfabrique.

Die Film- und Medienstiftung NRW unterstützt nach der jüngsten Vergabesitzung im Rahmen seines Förderprogramms zur Entwicklung innovativer serieller Formate und Inhalte vier weitere Gaming-Projekte. Insgesamt wurden Fördergelder in Höhe von knapp 125.000 Euro bewilligt.

Mit 34.618 Euro wird der Spiele-Prototype "Caribbean Treasure Hunt" des Bochumer Rubin-Games Studios gefördert. Weitere 25.000 Euro erhält die Prototypenentwicklung von "I am X" von AWWWdesign Jungblut & Herrmann aus Köln. Das Konzept der Kinder-App "Willy Wiwatsche das Spiel" von beepkultur wird mit 15.000 Euro unterstützt.

Ebenfalls förderwürdig erachtet die Medienstiftung NRW das Start-Up-Programm der Spielfabrique aus Köln. Das deutsch-französische Accelerator Programm für Gamesentwickler erhält 50.000 Euro aus dem Fördertopf von NRW.
