While other companies are cutting capacity, Bandai Namco Europe's Limbic Entertainment studio has welcomed nine new employees since the beginning of the year.

This strategic expansion is also due to the success of Park Beyond, developed by German studio Limbic Entertainment and published by Bandai Namco Europe. Bandai Namco has held a stake in Limbic Entertainment since February 2021 and acquired a majority stake in the studio, which was founded in 2002, in October 2022.

In the current wave of new hires, Limbic Entertainment has hired five seniors with experience from other established studios. Janine Bertet (bottom left), for example, joined as Principal Concept Artist in January, having previously worked on The Surge 2 and Lords of the Fallen. Martin Hamberger (bottom centre) also joined the team in January as Senior Writer & Level Designer. Frieder Mielke (top; second from right) and Matthias Kraut (top left) joined the team in March as Senior Programmer and Communications Lead respectively. All three previously worked for Mimimi Games and contributed to Desperados III and Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew among others. Aswarth Sadhu (top right), who worked on Assassin's Creed Mirage, joined Limbic Entertainment in April as Senior Animator.

Also on board at Limbic Entertainment are Alexandre Marti (bottom right), Junior Gameplay Programmer, Ali Abdat, Junior Programmer, Amr Hamed (top, second from left), Junior Game Programmer and Timo Frischhut (right center), Junior QA Tester. All four joined the team in January.

With the latest hires, the Limbic Entertainment team has grown to 110 employees from over 20 countries.
