On Thursday night, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) presented a new episode of State of Play. The 35-minute PlayStation Showcase featured 14 titles across PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2 and PC from SIE and third party partners.

The second State of Play of 2024 featured 14 titles. This includes the first gameplay scenes from Firewalk Studios' multiplayer shooter Concord. The character-based 5v5 multiplayer shooter will be released on 23 August 2024 for PS5 and PC. On 6 September, Team Asobi will release Astro Bot, in which the eponymous robot embarks on a new journey through the PlayStation universe. Players will explore six galaxies and over 80 levels in search of Astro's scattered crew.

God of War Ragnarök, including the Valhalla DLC, will also be available for PC on 19 September. The game is once again being developed with the help of Jetpack Interactive. The studio was previously responsible for the port of God of War and was involved in the development of God of War Ragnarök too. Until Dawn from Sony Interactive Entertainment and Ballistic Moon are coming to PC and PS5 as well. The extended and technically revised version of the horror game is scheduled for release in autumn 2024. Halloween would seem to be a good time for it. Both God of War Ragnarök and Until Dawn require a PlayStation Network account on PC.

For PlayStation VR2, Skydance's Behemoth was announced for autumn 2024 and Survios' Alien: Rogue Incursion for winter 2024.
