At the end of October, MegaDev, operator of the Plitch platform, moved into its new headquarters in Munich's Obersendling district.

With almost 700 square metres of space, it now has almost three times as much space as before to continue growing. This is because demand for Plitch is constantly increasing, partly because the clear focus on single players is paying off, as their life cycle can be extended with training and cheat solutions.

At the office warming party in February, GamesMarkt spoke with Managing Director Robert Maroschik about moments that almost spelled the end for Plitch, but also about growth, future plans and where the company wants to go in the long term. The full interview is available to our GamesMarkt paid members.

Like a navigation device or Google Maps while driving, Plitch should become indispensable for gaming – that is our goal.

10 years of MegaDev! How is MegaDev doing and how happy are you with the status quo?

Robert Maroschik: We’re doing great – ten years is a remarkable milestone for us. Our numbers are strong, and the range of features available on Plitch continues to grow steadily. We are profitable, with our EBITDA margin increasing year over year.
