The new ROG Ally X gaming handheld will be available at the end of July. This is according to the Asus Store, where you can now pre-order the handheld. In the USA it will cost 800 dollars plus tax. In Europe, Asus is asking just under €900, tax included.

The next generation of the ROG Ally gaming handheld from Asus is due to be released this summer with a host of new developments. The ROG Ally X (2024) is now available for pre-order and, according to the Asus Store, will be available for delivery from 22 July. Asus is promoting the new handheld, which comes with 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, with double the battery life and describes it as a 'true Windows 11 gaming machine'.

The price of the handheld is high. In the US store of Asus, the manufacturer asks for almost 800 US dollars, although VAT is usually added here. In the German online store of Republic of Gamers (ROG), the price is 899 euros, but this includes taxes. It is not known if the handheld will also be available in retail stores, and if so, where.
