Under the Puls brand, Bayerischer Rundfunk is starting its new Gaming Analyse show with Janina Hille and Bertan Sivrikaya as hosts. It will air every Friday.

Bayerischer Rundfunk is expanding its BR Puls offering with “Puls Gaming Analyse”. Hosted by Janina Hille, known from Rocket Beans, and Bertan Sivrikaya of BR’s own Levels & Soundtrack games music programme, the new show will air every Friday. A teaser has been shown for the first time on 26 September.

Thomas Hinrichs, BR Director of Information: “Bayerischer Rundfunk aims to make its programming younger and more digital in order to better appeal to new, previously underrepresented target groups. A gaming format is particularly well suited for this, as many young people in Bavaria regularly play on PCs or consoles and are very interested in finding out about current trends and hypes.”

Florian Meyer-Hawranek, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, BR Puls: “For years, PULS music analysis has shown us that young music fans' interest in in-depth analysis of hype and trends remains unbroken. We have learned a lot from this format and are delighted to now be transferring this proven concept to something new that also offers the gaming community aged between 16 and 25 a home at BR Puls.”
