"For those who like their adrenaline pumping, Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel in the best Diablo style, or escape the Bastille in the bullet-time platformer Sacre Bleu. Or maybe you'd prefer Somber Echoes, a Metroidvania set in a Greek-Roman spaceship?" The organisers write, while also highlighting 30 Birds by Ram Ram Games, Business Goose Studios and Arte France, inspired by Persian art and based on the historical-surrealist fantasy world of Hieronymus Bosch.
The team from Chicken Police (The Wild Gentlemen from Hungary) will be there with Moses and Plato - Last Train to Clawville, a detective adventure featuring clueless fox detectives. Also on the programme is Netherworlds from Spain's Hungry Pixel, a game about the wild adventures of a jellyfish who is abandoned by his wife and led astray by a drug-addicted magician. In the rhythm-puzzle-platformer Antro by Gatera Studio from Spain, a nihilistic parcel delivery man runs to the sounds of hip-hop and electro-parkour as he fights against a totalitarian system. Other games in the line-up include Winter Burrow from Pine Creek Games in Denmark, The Merlies from Darjeeling and Arte France, and Usual June from Finji in the USA, as well as Slay the Princess - The Pristine Cut from Black Tabby Games (Canada) and Yes your Grace: Snowfall from Brave At Night (UK).
