Koelnmesse launches Early Bird sales for gamescom 2024
Companies can now register for gamescom 2024 at special discounted rates. The Early Bird phase runs until the end of February 2024.
There's no rest after the fair - this also applies to gamescom. That's why the game association trade fair partner Koelnmesse is starting to sell space for gamescom 2024 with immediate effect. From now until 29 February 2024, companies can book spaces at special rates during the Early Bird. As usual, the prices per square metre depend on various factors, such as whether a B2C presence is booked in addition to a B2B presence. Stand location, stand position and stand size also influence the prices. Koelnmesse has summarised the different options in a sales deck, which also provides further information on additional options, some of which are included, such as participation in the Opening Night Live, the gamescom studio, the event arena and other sponsorship and branding opportunities. Prices for joint stands in the Indie Area are also listed. The sales deck can be found on the [gamescom B2B website] (https://b2b.gamescom.global/for-partners/join-gamescom/pricing-info/).
gamescom and its accompanying events will take place from 18 to 25 August 2024. The trade fair as the main event will take place from 21 to 25 August, with the first day reserved as usual for trade visitor ticket holders, press and wildcard ticket holders. The business area for trade visitors will close after 23 August. Separate events will take place including the devcom Developer Conference (on 19 and 20 August), the Opening Night Live (on the evening of 20 August) and the gamescom Congress (on 22 August). The gamescom city festival with music acts and show trucks in the city centre of Cologne is planned for Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 August.
In total, gamescom 2023 attracted 320,000 visitors from 116 countries, including more than 31,000 trade visitors.
