Resident Evil Requiem is the latest instalment in the Resident Evil series, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this month. With its two protagonists, the game appeals to fans of action and survival horror, offering both first- and third-person perspectives. It is available for PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S.
Resident Evil is the best-selling franchise of the Japanese publisher, with a total of 183.0 million units sold. The most successful titles to date are Resident Evil 2 (2019) with 16.8 million units sold, Resident Evil 7 biohazard (2017) with 16.4 million, Resident Evil Village (2021) with 13.5 million, and Resident Evil 4 (2023) with 12.2 million.
