"Virtua Tennis" geht in die dritte Runde. Sega kündigte die Veröffentlichung der Tennissimulation für das Frühjahr 2007 an.

Entsprechend lässt Publisher Sega die zugkräftige Marke auch nicht verstauben und bedient ab Frühjahr kommenden Jahres die Next-Gen-Spieler mit einer neuen Version. Für Sonys PlayStation 3 und Microsoft Xbox 360 befindet sich "Virtua Tennis 3" nach Unternehmensangaben derzeit in Entwicklung.

Wie immer ist es Ziel des erfahrenen Teams, den weißen Sport möglichst akkurat umzusetzen. Die von Sega in Aussicht gestellte fotorealistische Grafik soll ihr Übriges tun und alte wie neue Fans für die Tennissimulation begeistern. Einen ersten Vorgeschmack gibt der Publisher auf der Electronic Entertainment Expo. Am Sega-Stand wird es weitere Informationen zu "Virtua Tennis 3" geben.
