In mid-June, publisher Aerosoft brought together around ten simulation game and content studios in Paderborn for DevConnect 2024. The sale of 500K units of On the Road - The Truck Simulator was also celebrated on site.

Simulation games are far from new. However, they have been growing in popularity for many years, and while they still may be a genre of niche games, they are no longer a niche genre.

But the bigger the success, the more important the dialogue. That's why publisher Aerosoft brought together simulation game developers at DevConnect 2024 on 13 and 14 June. The meeting took place at the Vivendi Hotel in Paderborn, Aerosoft's home town.

Aerosoft was joined by many partners: Binary Impact, Caipirinha Games, Chronos North, crenetic, HR Innoways, PeDePe, Simula Games, Thera Bytes, tox² interactive and Z-Software came to DevConnect 2024. As well as general networking, there were also presentations open to external developers, including Creative Mesh, Lost The Game, mod.io, Tobii and Well Done Games.

There was also a special surprise for one studio. Aerosoft presented the team at tox² interactive with a trophy for reaching the milestone of over 500,000 units sold of On the Road - The Truck Simulator.
