Snapshots: A Visit to the Bandai Namco Cross Store in London
London houses one of only two physical Bandai Namco Cross Stores, both in the UK. We've been on site to check out the concept and showcase store, which focuses heavily on gachapon machines and TCG play spaces.
“See, touch, experience“; Just two physical Bandai Namco Cross Stores exist on European soil. Both of them in the UK: One in London's Camden Market, one in Birmingham. The stores concept is to act as a showcase for Bandai Namco's product lineups, especially those beyond video games.
We visited the store in London, which occupies one of Camden's old manufacturing buildings on two levels. The lower level is split into an arcade area with gachapon machines holding merchandise from various animes, and a Gundam-focused concept store selling all kinds of building kits.
The top floor is split as well: into a storefront area that includes showcases for merchandise and buyable items, and a TCG playing area that is focused on the One Piece and Gundam card games. The latter area also acts as a grounds for TCG tournaments and casual play, for which no purchaes are needed.
