Permanent exhibition "Games Made in NRW" opens at Xperion in Cologne
From mid-October, the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW will present games made in North Rhine-Westphalia in a permanent exhibition at the Xperion in Cologne.
For some time now, the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW has been supporting games from North Rhine-Westphalia with various PR and advertising campaigns. Now, in mid-October, another permanent presence will be added. The permanent exhibition "Games Made in NRW" will be set up at Saturn Xperion in Cologne.
The exhibition consists of four game stations. At three of the game stations, one game each will be playable over a longer period of time. The first will be "Chained Echoes" by Matthias Linda, "Fall of Porcupine" by Critical Rabbit and "Touch Type Tale" by Pumpernickel Studios. All three titles will be playable until January, after which three new games will be unveiled. At the fourth station, more than 35 other games from NRW can be played and tested permanently. This catalogue of titles will also be continuously expanded.
The permanent exhibition is scheduled to open on 17 October. To mark the occasion, the Film and Media Foundation invites you to a "Gamestreff NRW Spezial@Xperion". The event will start at 6 pm and registrations are still possible until 13th October. Before the networking part of the exhibition opening, two lectures are planned. Hendrik Hollenberg from Vest Games and Daniel Dumont from Gaming Minds will give an insight into the current projects "Eville" and "Railway Empire 2".
