BIG and Acer Predator Have Extended Their Strategic Partnership
The German esports Organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has announced an extension to its partnership with Acer Predator, as well as an expansion of the collaboration.
After a year of collaboration, Acer Predator will continue to supply BIG with gaming technology, including its latest high-end PCs, laptops, and displays. These will be deployed throughout BIG's esports headquarters in Berlin, which is now accessible to B2C customers through BIG's partnership with the Esport Factory. The partnership covers BIG's entire competitive roster, including Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), League of Legends, Trackmania and also Fortnite. "With the addition of star player Taylor-Petrik "Vic0" Gatschelhofer, Predator’s presence in Fortnite marks a new chapter for both brands," BIG states. The extension of the partnership was once again supported and facilitated by the sports marketing agency Sportfive.
Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG: "We are pleased to extend our partnership with Acer Predator. Their high-performance hardware not only powers our athletes at the highest level but also enhances the experience for visitors at our facility in Berlin. We're especially excited to take our collaboration into Fortnite, one of our fastest-growing divisions. A big thank you goes to Sportfive for once again facilitating this partnership."
The joint content strategy between BIG and Predator will continue to evolve to include behind-the-scenes content, athlete-driven storytelling across multiple platforms and formats for a broader gaming community. In addition to digital content, the partnership will focus on direct community engagement. Several offline activations are planned throughout the year, including the previous presence at IEM Cologne 2025.
Sung-Hun Choi, Director Marketing Acer DACH, Hungary & Baltics: "Our partnership with BIG goes far beyond a traditional sponsorship. It's a strategic collaboration focusing on making professional esports more accessible and engaging for a broader gaming audience. Together, we're developing content formats that not only showcase top-tier esports performance but also highlight the cultural relevance and excitement of gaming. By bridging the gap between aspiring gamers and professional esports talents, we're aiming to bring esports into the mainstream and inspire the next generation of players. Since our journey started successfully last year, we are proud to continue this year and bring it to a next level."
