From April 2026 onwards, the Hamburg-based communications agency Sunday Studio will be responsible for handling press and media relations for the gamescom congress 2026.
Every year, the gamescom congress brings together experts from business, culture, education, politics, science, the media and the games industry. The conference on the potential of computer and video games for society and the economy highlights how gaming technologies foster innovation and drive digitalization in virtually all areas of society.

The gamescom congress takes place annually as part of gamescom in Cologne on 27 August 2026 (as always, on a Thursday). The conference is organized by Koelnmesse GmbH and game - the German Games Industry Association.
