Super Fantasy Kingdom, developed by Hanover-based one-man studio Super Fantasy Games, reached almost 13,000 concurrent players on Steam alone during its Early Access launch.
Super Fantasy Kingdom was launched in Early Access on 24 October 2025, with a launch discount of 35% (from €14.99 to €9.74). This is a common pricing strategy for Hooded Horse. The game performed strongly over the weekend following its launch, with a maximum of 8,207 players on Steam on launch day (Friday), rising to 12,672 by Sunday. Although the game is also available on GOG, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass via Game Preview, it performed particularly well on Steam. Based on this metric, Super Fantasy Kingdom ranks fourth in Hooded Horse's portfolio, behind Manor Lords (173,178 players), 9 Kings (13,905 players) and Against the Storm (12,832 players). Incidentally, the recently released demo of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era Demo, peaked at 24,157 concurrently active players.
Super Fantasy Kingdom is a roguelite city-building game combining resource management, base expansion, world exploration and automatic defence battles, all presented in a retro style reminiscent of classic pixel art strategy games such as the first instalments of The Settlers series.
Super Fantasy Games is a one-man development studio based in Hanover and run by Feryaz Beer. This is his first game. Hooded Horse is a publisher of strategic and tactical games. Its portfolio includes Manor Lords, Against the Storm, Endless Legend 2, Old World, Norland, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era (on over one million Steam wish lists) and 9 Kings (in collaboration with Instinct3).
