More than half of the Swiss population plays games, according to the Digimonitor 2025 study, conducted by the Interest Group for Electronic Media (IGEM) and WEMF AG. These results are representative of the Swiss internet-using population aged 15 to 75 (6.3 million people). According to the report, 3.6 million people play computer and video games, which is an increase of 246,000 year-on-year, reaching a larger audience than streaming platforms such as Spotify or Netflix.
