The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia has launched Open Calls for Application. Game Design Work Grants, International Platforms (GDC, Nordic Game) and Mentorship Programmes are now open to apply for.

Pro Helvetia's Game Design Work Grants (especially for emerging talents), International Platforms and Mentorship Programmes are now open for applications. The Swiss Arts Council wrote: "We promote the creation and dissemination of professional contemporary game design. Our support is aimed at emerging talents in the field of game design. Emerging talents are considered those professional creatives who have completed their professional training in a relevant field or who founded a company (as a legal entity) less than seven years ago."

Open Calls Game Design Work Grants Autumn 2024 (submission deadline 1 September)
  • Pre-Production: Development of a prototype, up to CHF 20,000
  • Production: Production on the basis of an advanced prototype or a completed pilot Project, up to CHF 50,000
  • Post-Production: Dissemination of a project in its advanced stages with marketing measures or transfer of the project to other platforms, up to CHF 20,000
