Thogli Studios and The Mane Quest's Alice Ruppert have teamed up for Horses of Hoofprint Bay to bring back good, retro-inspired horse games. We interviewed the team behind the FFF Bayern funded project about their ambitions and how they met.
Freshly founded, Theresa Thoma and Anna Glinsmann alias Thogli Studios have teamed up with Alice Ruppert, horse game expert, consultant and developer on games like Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch and the upcoming The Legend of Khiimori and author of The Mane Quest, to bring back what they miss in existing horse games. We sat down with them and asked the three how they found together, what modern horse games are missing and why they are going back all the way to 2003 for their inspirations.
