Demos on Steam and Steam Next Fest remain a powerful way to draw attention to a game. Recently, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, by Unfrozen, Ubisoft and Hooded Horse, reached the milestone of one million wishlists on Steam. THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios have now announced that Reanimal has also achieved this milestone.

Oliver Merlöv, CEO, Tarsier Studios: "We're incredibly grateful for player response to Reanimal to date. There is no doubt that this high level of engagement and feedback will ultimately deliver an elevated Reanimal experience, starting with the upcoming demo patch. Please keep sharing the scare!"

THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios have confirmed that the Steam demo period will be extended indefinitely. In this co-op demo, players start from the very beginning of the story, which sees orphaned siblings reunited as they try to survive in dire circumstances. The Boy and the Girl then embark on a desperate search for their missing friends.

Developed by Tarsier Studios, the creators of Little Nightmares I and II, Reanimal is being published by THQ Nordic and will be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is scheduled for release in Q1 2026.

By the way: Outbound, developed by Square Glade Games and published by Silver Lining Interactive, has officially reached over 1 million wishlists on Steam - without a demo. The cozy survival aka cozyvival adventure will be released digitally on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in the first half of 2026.
