The TV and streaming production company UFA has founded a new label, UFA Good Games (UFAGG). The aim is to develop new entertainment concepts and thereby tap into new target groups. The first project is the development of the UFA Creator Academy.

With the UFA Good Games (UFAGG) label, UFA is setting the course for the development of new, cross-platform entertainment concepts. UFAGG wants to reach new target groups, platforms, and clients, and to produce content across various genres together with the esports, games, and creator industries — from entertainment and shows to documentaries and factual formats, as well as fiction, whether daily, weekly, or as special events.

The label was launched on 1 May and is headed by Jörg Adami, most recently CEO and co-founder of the esports player foundation, and Christian Körner, long-time company spokesman for RTL Deutschland and most recently Director of Communications & Public Affairs at UFA. The first planned project is the UFA Creator Academy, which aims to help young people pursue their career aspirations as creators.

UFA CEO Sascha Schwingel sees special opportunities for the company in the new label: "We want to perform on new stages with innovative entertainment offerings and reach new target groups and revenue models. To this end, we have also closely analysed developments in the esports, games, and creator industries. Linking this highly dynamic ecosystem with our own expertise and network over the long term is both a creatively and commercially exciting endeavour."

UFA is one of the leading production companies for series and films, shows and documentaries in the German-speaking world.
