The Augmented World Expo, AWE EU 2024, will take place in Vienna at the end of October. The event aims to bring together experts in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality from a range of sectors, including gaming.

AWE (Augmented World Expo), the European conference and exhibition for Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (XR), invites interested parties to AWE EU 2024 in Vienna on 29 and 30 October 2024. The event aims to bring together experts, companies, developers and investors from all over the world.

More than 125 speakers from companies such as Siemens, Audi, ESA, the World Economic Forum and Obsess are on the agenda. More than 120 exhibitors will showcase their products and services on over 5,000 square metres of exhibition space. The first exhibitors to confirm their participation include Meta, Niantic, Xpanceo, Datwyler, ArborXR and others. Over 2,000 attendees are expected.

This is the self-description of the Augmented World Expo: "AWE was first organized in 2010 by augmentereality.org (...) The first AWE event started with only 300 attendees and a handful of exhibitors. Today, AWE events have grown to thousands of attendees from around the world, hundreds of sponsors and exhibitors and an extensive network of professionals in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and other immersive technologies. In 2015 the first AWE ASIA event was organized, in 2016 the first AWE Europe event was held in Germany, and AWE Tel Aviv followed in 2018."
