Zum fünften Mal finden die Netd@ys Berlin Europa statt. Auch in diesem Jahr beteiligt sich die Soft- und Hardwarebranche wieder an dieser Veranstaltung rund um das Thema Multimedia.

Mehr als 100 Unternehmen und Institutionen engagieren sich an den Netd@ys Berlin Europa 2002, einer Initiative zur Förderung des Einsatzes neuer Medien. Unter anderem beteiligen sich an dem Event vom 16. bis 24. November in Berlin die Games Academy und der Verband der Unterhaltungssoftware Deutschland (VUD). Wie im vergangenen Jahr unterstützt die Magix AG die Netd@ys. Gemeinsam mit dem gleichnamigen Berliner Verein hat der Softwarepublisher den Wettbewerb "Musik für Toleranz" ausgelobt. Ferner zählen Microsoft und die Siemens AG zu den Förderern der Initiative. Während der neun Veranstaltungstage an 85 Orten in der Bundeshauptstadt sind mehr als 500 Aktionen rund um das Thema Umgang und Lernen mit neuen Medien geplant.
