HoYoverse is best known for its games Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. These titles are currently available on mobile and console, with PC versions accessible via the company's launcher and the Epic Games Store. This is set to change, however, as Zenless Zone Zero is set to be released on Steam in Q2 2026, offering cross-platform data compatibility. "The Steam store page is now live, and players can wishlist the game—special rewards will be unlocked based on certain wishlist milestones," writes the publisher. Whether this paves the way for Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail remains to be seen. The aforementioned HoYoverse games are free-to-play titles that primarily rely on gacha mechanics, though they also feature season passes and other microtransactions.

HoYoverse is the global brand of Chinese developer miHoYo. While miHoYo remains headquartered in Shanghai, its international operations are handled by its subsidiary, Cognosphere Pte. Ltd., operating under the name HoYoverse since February 2022.

"Zenless Zone Zero is HoYoverse's urban fantasy ARPG, in which a calamity called the "Hollows" has destroyed modern society. New Eridu, the last remaining metropolis, has risen against the odds amidst this destructive catastrophe to become the last bastion of modern civilization. In the game, players assume the role of a "Proxy" accompanied by unique characters as they explore Hollows, battle enemies, complete commissions, and reveal the mysteries behind New Eridu."

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.8, titled 'Eridan Sunset', is set to launch on 6 May 2026. This update sees the pursuit of Ramiel begin in the Outer Ring. Alongside new agents Promeia and Starlight, Billy will join the fray. This update also features the 'Marcel Bootopia' themed event and a new Wind-attribute enemy that introduces the Vortex combat mechanic.
