The next Womenize! conference will take place on 4 June and features a special programme with international speakers to mark its 10th anniversary. The event is supported by Instinct3, InnoGames, Gameforge, and Kickstarter, among others.

The 10th edition of Womenize!, held on 4 June at the Institut Français in Berlin, will be opened by Madeleine Egger (Head of Womenize!), Ruth Lemmen (co-founder of Womenize!), Anna Sarah Vielhaber (Head of New Media Funding at Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg), and Sophie Coumel (Director of the Institut Français Berlin).

Luise Emilie Tschersich, aka Mile – actress and League of Legends caster – will open the programme with her keynote “Being a Woman in Esports.” The day will continue with a variety of talks, workshops, and panel discussions.

In the panel “Pitch Perfect: Securing Investment for Your Game,” Astrid Refstrup (Developer Relations & Business Development at Wings), Bibbi Wikman (Founder of PlayCap and Head of Brand & Publishing at Aurora Punks), and Marina Díez (Principal Game Designer at btf Games) will share insights into pitch strategies, market potential, and financing models — valuable information for indie studios, founders, and newcomers.

In the panel “Balancing Act – Navigating Parenthood in the Games Industry,” Elisabeth Secker (Managing Director, USK), Sena Tabak (Software Developer at InnoGames), and Miles Tost (Level Designer at CD Projekt Red) will discuss how to balance parenthood and a career in the games industry. The session will focus on real-life experiences, supportive workplace models, and practical approaches to fostering family-friendliness and equality in everyday working life.

Other confirmed speakers include Charlese Saballe (UX and Player Researcher at Metacore Games), sound futurist Dani Valkova, Nainy Sahani (Marketing Director, Tales), Kathy Tafel (Senior Director of Engineering at Artsy), Michael Liebe (CEO, Booster Space & Outreach Games Europe Lead for Kickstarter), and Jacky Martin (Founder, Gentleland).

“For ten years, Womenize! has stood for visibility, exchange, and empowerment. With this anniversary edition, we are not only celebrating a decade of commitment to greater diversity, but also sending a clear message: the industry needs this platform — as a place of inspiration, empowerment, and long-term networking. For us, Womenize! is much more than just an event — it’s a movement that opens up perspectives, strengthens careers, and drives structural change,” says Madeleine Egger, Head of Womenize!

The Womenize! conference is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and organised by Booster Space Events & Consulting. Sponsors include Instinct3, InnoGames, Gameforge, Kickstarter, and the Institut Français Deutschland. Metacore Games and Kolibri Games are also supporting the conference.
