For only the third time, Red Bull is organizing its League of Legends event League of Its Own, in which Europe's top players compete. After Berlin (2023) and Paris (2024), the event will take place in Munich on November 29.

Munich will host another esports highlight in the fall. On November 29, Red Bull will hold the third edition of its League of Legends event, Red Bull League of Its Own, in the Bavarian capital. The SAP Garden will serve as the venue. The multi-purpose hall, which opened in 2024, is home to both the FC Bayern basketball team and the EHC Red Bull Munich ice hockey team. From the outset, the SAP Garden has also been home to the Red Bull Gaming Garden, which has established the location as a partner for esports teams and organizations.

Red Bull League of Its Own is, according to its own statements, the largest off-season League of Legends event in Europe. In the tournament, top athletes from last year's winner T1 will face teams such as G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, NNO Old, and Los Ratones. The games will be broadcast live via Twitch and YouTube with co-streams from Caedrel, Kameto, Nomay4u, and others. The organizers expect a sold-out arena with around 10,000 fans in attendance.

Munich, which has numerous halls and venues thanks to its successful clubs, was not exactly considered a hotspot for esports events for a long time. However, that changed with the 2024 LEC Finals, which took place in Munich's Olympiahalle. This fall, Red Bull League of Its Own is not the only esports event in Munich. The Blast R6 Major will take place from November 14 to 16 at the BMW Park.
