Publisher 10tacle hat sich die Rechte am Kultpuzzle "Boulder Dash" gesichert und entwickelt eine mobile Adaption für Nintendo DS und Sony PlayStation Portable.

Das bei Retrospielefans beliebte Puzzlespiel "Boulder Dash" wird in zeitgemäßer Optik für Nintendo DS und Sony PlayStation Portable umgesetzt. Spielepublisher 10tacle konnte sich die Lizenz von First Star Software sichern und kündigt die Veröffentlichung der mobilen Adaption für das zweite Halbjahr 2007 an. Mit der Entwicklung werden die 10tacle Studios Mobile betraut. Vor Kurzem wurde die Marke bereits für Mobiltelefone, PDAs und Online-Plattformen adaptiert.

"Das bewährte Konzept konnte bereits Generationen von Spielern begeistern, zusätzlich wollen wir der Marke mit einigen Innovationen eigene Akzente setzen und so den Stärken der neuen Plattformen Rechnung tragen. In einem neuen, zeitgemäßen Stil möchten wir die Abenteuer der Spielfigur Rockford fit für die nächsten Jahre machen", kommentiert Alexandra Gerb, Geschäftsführerin 10tacle Studios Mobile.
