The countdown to the 10th edition of Friendly Fire is on, and more details are emerging. The line-up of content creators is set, as is the list of organisations that Friendly Fire will support. Since its launch, the format has already raised over €10 million.

Never change a winning team – that applies to Friendly Fire 10. As in the previous year, the initiators Erik 'Gronkh' Range and the 'PietSmiet' team will be joined by Tatjana 'Pandorya' Werth, Pascal 'MrMoreGame' Rothkegel, Florian 'Der Heider' Heider, Artur 'fisHC0p' Niemczuk and Max 'PhunkRoyal' Ensikat. They will meet on 7 December for a 12-hour live stream starting at 2:00 p.m. and collecting money for charity.

The money collected this year will go to the following organisations: Amadeu Antonio Stiftung, Loki Schmidt Stiftung, Goldeimer gGmbH, NCL Stiftung, Enable Me, Tierfreunde Münster e.V. an Silbernetz e.V. One-eighth of the total will go to the Friendly Fire Nothilfefond (Friendly Fire emergency fund).

This fund is used to provide short-term assistance in response to humanitarian disasters throughout the year. In June alone, €123,000 was donated to flood relief and for refugee projects and forgotten crises. In total, the emergency fund has already distributed over €400,000.

Incidentally, the main sponsor of Friendly Fire 10 is Assassin's Creed Shadows from Ubisoft. Other sponsors include Xbox Game Pass, Caggtus Leipzig, Dr. Oetker with La Mia Grande, KittyCatCakes and the R42. The stream will be produced for the first time in the R42 studios in Leipzig, as in previous years by the Munich-based Laser-Studios.

Friendly Fire is taking place for the tenth time this year, making it one of the oldest and most important donation streams in the German gaming scene. Since the first event in 2015, the content creators Gronk and Piet Smiet have already raised over €10.15 million for charitable organisations. Some of the money comes from the sale of merchandise, which is why the final total is not known until a few weeks after the stream. In previous years, the crew managed to collect more than €1 million during the stream.
