Update from 28 May 2026:

Blueberry releases today on Steam. The game by Mellow Games alias Mel Taylor features consultant work by a collective of psychologist as well as contributions by comic artist Sarah Burrini, now part of Green Parrot Games.

Original from 06 March 2026:

Blueberry, the mental health focused game by Cologne developer Mel Taylor alias Mellow Games and publisher Hidden Trap, will release on 28 May 2026. Taylor had started the studio originally in Brisbane, Australia, after she was narrative designer and co-creator of Orwell game duology of now-closed studio Osmotic.

Blueberry, which is produced in cooperation with psychologist collective Behind the Screens, will also be featured in Steam’s Women’s Day Sale Showcase from today, 19:00 CET onwards. The link to the showcase will also function from 19:00 CET.

When asked by GamesMarkt, Taylor explained: "Blueberry is a deeply personal game about piecing together the story of a life and dealing with trauma. After many years of development, we finally have a release date: The 28th of May 2026. I poured all of my heart and soul into this game and can't wait to see how it is received. We're also very honored to have it featured in this year's Womens Day Sale on Steam, which starts today!"

Currently, there is also a new game demo playable through Steam.
