Microids, which will be releasing a number of games this year, has announced the creation of a "Third-Party Publishing" division. The French publisher has also signed an international partnership with Kwalee for the game The Precinct.

Microids has launched its "Third-Party Publishing" division. The French company, which has been active in the video games industry for almost 40 years, will offer its publishing services to selected partners worldwide. "We are delighted to announce the creation of our "Third-Party Publishing" division, which will allow us to extend our expertise to new partners while strengthening relationships with our long-standing collaborators," says Stéphane Longeard, CEO of Microids. "These strategic partnerships demonstrate our ability to work with major industry players, bringing exceptional diversity and quality in gaming experiences to our audience. We are especially excited to bring the retail versions of The Precinct to a global audience and to continue enriching our catalog with iconic titles."

Fittingly, they have announced the signing of a new international distribution and publishing deal for The Precinct, developed by Fallen Tree Games Limited and published by Kwalee. Ben Forrester, VP of Publishing, PC & Console at Kwalee said: "We are thrilled to partner with Microids to bring The Precinct to a wider audience. Their expertise in physical distribution aligns perfectly with our vision for the game, and, together, we're committed to delivering an exceptional gaming experience that resonates with fans everywhere."

Microids has released numerous physical editions over the years, including Sifu (Kepler Interactive), F.I.S.T. Forged In Shadow Torch (Bilibili), House of the Dead and Front Mission 1st (Forever Entertainment), and Oddworld Soulstorm (Oddworld Inhabitants), often in conjunction with German distributor astragon. Microids will also be releasing the following titles in the coming weeks: Arsene Lupin - Once a Thief, Flint: Treasure of Oblivion, The Smurfs - Dreams, Totally Spies! - Cyber Mission, Empire of the Ants, Little Big Adventure - Twinsen's Quest and Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy, with only Amerzone being developed by an in-house team.
