EA Sports FC 25 Releases at the end of September
Once again, a new football game from EA Sports will be released at the end of September. EA Sports FC 25 will be available for all consoles and PC. The football game includes a new 5v5 mode, an overhaul of the tactical foundations through AI and the introduction of women's football in career mode.
Electronic Arts will release EA Sports FC 25 on 27 September 2024, with Early Access for the Ultimate Edition starting on 20 September 2024. It will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Switch. HyperMotionV technology is only available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. "EA Sports FC continues to build the world's biggest football platform with a host of innovations, led by Rush and FC IQ, to deliver the most social and authentic experience to date," said the publisher. Cover star is Jude Bellingham. In its first week, its predecessor, EA Sports FC 24, reached 11.3 million players. It was also the best-selling game of 2023 in Germany.
"With EA Sports FC 25, we're strengthening our vision of a fan-first future for football and redefining what's possible on the pitch with FC IQ, using AI and real-world data to modernize player tactics and complement the power of HyperMotionV and PlayStyles," said Nick Wlodyka, SVP and Group GM, EA Sports FC. "We're bringing our fans innovative ways to play with Rush, our most social and engaging experience we've ever created, and continuing to craft an authentic representation of the world’s game with the introduction of women's football into Career Mode."
EA Sports FC 25 introduces Rush, a 5v5 mode that uses the same gameplay as 11v11. EA Sports: "Available across Football Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off, Rush is tailor-made to play with your friends as it allows groups of four to team up and take to the pitch together, with an AI-controlled goalkeeper. As a single player, fast-paced experience in Manager Career, Rush will have you take control of your Youth Academy development throughout the season with new playable 5v5 tournaments." Career mode takes place after taking over a club following mid-season transfers or managerial changes, whereby the career start is connected to "Real-World Live Start Points", which will be added in a post-launch update. This year also sees the introduction of women's football in Career Mode for the first time, giving them parity with men's football in all game modes.
