Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Reaches Seven Million Copies Sold
Seven years after the release of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment is celebrating seven million sales of the game.

To coincide with the seventh anniversary of the game's release, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has now sold over seven million copies. The arcade air combat game, developed by Bandai Namco Studios (Project Aces), was released on 18 January 2019 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and on 1 February 2019 for Windows PCs.
A version for the Nintendo Switch was released on 11 July 2024.
The entire Ace Combat series has now sold over 21 million copies worldwide. The latest instalment, Ace Combat 8: Wings of the Throne, was unveiled at The Game Awards 2025 and is set to launch in 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
